Creeps! is an art series I am working on centered around sci-fi and supernatural characters I am developing for a comic book series. Designing characters first helps me better imagine their place in my story.
The Face is the first Creep I designed for my series. The Face is an entity that has been around for several hundreds of years. It is cunning and has a great deal of knowledge concerning the Black Arts, but is one you must always keep a close eye on. It has been theorized that it’s grotesque body and wicked face is merely a housing unit for an ethereal consciousness.
Gilly is an expert in camouflage and deep depth lurking. A film develops over his eyes as he swims, allowing for him to see underwater. His enhanced vision allows for Gilly to see in even the murkiest of waters. It is unknown whether Gilly was born as he is or transformed some time during his life.
The 24th model of the Data Accumulation unit. This artificial intelligence is designed to record the properties of its environment and store the data internally for further investigation and analyzing. This model has moderate defense capabilities such as ion shielding, blinding gaze, and electricity stun. As standard on all Data Accumulation units, model number 24 features a bright and vibrant light source.
Pop culture is a gigantic part of my life. Much of my inspiration comes from things I read in comic books, or things I have seen on TV and in movies. It’s always fun to draw some of my favorite characters from time to time.
